Our rubs are perfect for knocking up quick and easy midweek meals. They’re not just for barbecuing, infact we probably use our rubs more in everyday cooking indoors than we do cooking over coals outside.
Add them into pasta dishes, stir fried rice, dust over wedges and toss through noodles.
This dish is just something that takes no time at all and packs lots of flavour. It’s also just chucked together with whatever you have in the fridge.
With something like noodles and stir fried rice, there really is no right and wrong. For this recipe we had some duck breast fillets. These were simply fried in a pan fat side down to render out the fat and get that skin nice and crispy.
For the noodles you can use egg noodle, vermicelli, udon or whatever takes your fancy. We fried some onion, red peppers, cherry tomatoes and broccoli in a wok with some sesame oil, garlic, chilli and ginger. Add in your noodles, some chopped coriander, a good dose of our Salt N Pepper Chinese Rub (Around 1-2 tbsp) and a splash of soy sauce. Toss until cooked to your liking and serve with the sliced duck breast over the top. We dusted the duck breast with more rub before slicing.
Serve with a spoon or two of our Korean Sweet Chilli Sauce and some sesame seeds over the top.
